1) How far is the property from the sea?
Tenuta Specolizzi is 2 km from the nearest seaside.
2) How far is it to the Maldives of Salento?
The property is 5 km from the famous Maldives of Salento with its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters.
3) Is there a beach with special rates?
During low, medium and mid-high season, the estate offers its guests the possibility to choose between two beaches, with which we have partnership agreements.
4) Do you have a restaurant?
No, Tenuta Specolizzi offers its guests a rich sweet and savoury buffet with Salento specialties from 8.30 to 10.30 a.m. each morning and suggests wine and food tours to those who inquire. Only once a week, on Tuesday evening, if guests wish, can they book dinner by the pool.
5) Is it possible to have breakfast before 8.30 am?
Of course, the bar opens at 7.30 am and offers the classic Italian breakfast.
6) Are there excursions available to visit the region?
The owners, upon request, can organize boat trips with light meals on board or guided tours of the surrounding area.
7) Do you have a pool?
The Tenuta has two swimming pools, one for adults with beach experience, stream and waterfall for cervical massage, and a larger one for adults and children with a springboard and a more shallow part for children. They are located in different areas of the estate, and can be accessed only after a shower and with a bathing cap.
8) Are accompanied minors allowed to enter the adult pool?
The owners, to avoid unpleasant inconveniences, do not allow minors, even if accompanied by parents, to access the adult pool, as the intention of the pool is the creation a relaxation area for those who want to spend enjoyable time without the presence of children.
9) Is it possible to stay on the sun decks at times when the pools are closed?
During pool closing hours, you can stay on the sun decks of the swimming pools if you are being respectful of other guests.
10) Do the owners live on the estate?
Mario and Silvana, the owners, live on the estate and will share the evenings with their guests if they so wish.
11) How many accommodations are there?
There are 14 accommodations, which are arranged differently to meet all possible needs: classic rooms, the Pajara (typical rural building in Salento), the 2 family rooms are two-bedroom apartments with bathrooms, more sophisticated two-bedroom apartments with bathrooms such as the superior, deluxe and prestige rooms and finally two junior suites, one of which has a kitchenette.
12) How many people can the estate accommodate?
Up to a maximum of 30-35 people.

Tenuta Specolizzi has a shaded car park for guests' cars.
15) Are pets allowed on the Tenuta?
Yes, the owners love pets and allow them on their property upon prior consent and with a surcharge to be paid, but they cannot access the breakfast room and sun decks of the pools.
16) How far is the Tenuta from the nearest village?
The nearest village, Presicce, is 5 km away from the Tenuta.
17) Are all the rooms on the ground floor?
The rooms and apartments are all on the ground floor, overlooking a courtyard where guests can safely spend their free time using the tables and chairs that are to be found on site.
18) How can one use the spa?
To access the SPA, which is intended for couples, the owners only ask for the courtesy of a prior notice and reservation, as the service is completely free (excluding any massages, all of which can be booked individually).
19) Do you have a relaxation area where you can read without being disturbed?
Yes, in the area overlooking the adults’ only pool there is a relaxation area with gazebo and lounge where you can safely spend many pleasant hours without being disturbed.
20) Are there self-catering apartments for more independence?
The Tenuta has only one three-room apartment (the junior suite) with a kitchenette which allows the guest to have greater independence and, if so desired, not to be compelled to go out for dinner.
21) Do you have an Internet connection?
There is an internal free Wi-Fi connection in the lounge and around the reception.
22) Do you have a washing machine?
Yes, there is a laundry room.
23) Is there a playground for children?
Yes, there is a small playground and also a bocce court.
